Charentais melons boast outstanding flavor, vita A & C, anti-oxidants and are low calorie... boy, that ought to be goooood! Savor summer best during winter & holidays by freezing these delectable fruits.
Frozen melon recipes (adapted from HGTV website): Iced tea, soda, smoothie, sorbet, margarita; pureed icecubes to prepare fruit compote.
Zestar! Apples will be ready soon, a week from now to be precise. A bite into the grainy, juicy apple cleanses the system as thorough as OTC pills; juice & drink it fresh... heavens.
Veggies highlights of the week: Extra sweet Italian red pepper are long & skinny; hybrid eggplants, keeper tomatoes & fresh green beans.
Salsa's back on the shelf! Chunky, mildly spicy; does blends nicely with Mexican & Asian dishes.

Fall is a prime season for transplanting woody plants. Cool soil temp allows roots to reach out & anchor firmly. Not the least important, reduced watering & weeding means minimal upkeep. Please check our website for fruiting plants availability.
