The final days of winter gone! Spring has moved in, though cool days will inevitably bounce back. Migratory birds are back in town, lawns and fields greening up, outdoor routines & summer rituals start all over. Farmers & gardeners planting & seeding summer crops & flowers.

Rose plants will have been pruned & fed with a first round of Bob’s mix, nourishing the plants & keeping pesky deer & rabbits at bay.

Fruit trees & vines will soon cloak themselves with scented flowers & the humming of hungry insects filling the air.

Final touch of orchard pruning & cleanup left before spring IPM (integrated pest management) & fertility programs launched.

Our CSA program started in mid April with fresh green produce, eggs & honey. We anticipate a later start of the berry season than usual, due to the prolonged winter.
